Create a quick money/gift card holder with a sheet of cardstock (I used a piece measuring 21x15cm). This is also a great way to upcycle the cardboard from cereal boxes or the backs of notepaper pads.

Orientate it to landscape and score it down the middle.

Measure 3cm in from the right and left edges. Score, round the corners with a paper punch and fold inwards to form shallow flaps.

Secure the flaps with an eyelet at each end.

Fold the card along its centre score and thread ribbon or some twine through the eyelets and tie in a bow to close.

Embellish the front of the card.

To create the background accent and scalloped disc, I upcycled pretty paper doilies from a guest rosette received at this high tea. It was just too beautiful to toss.
