I created this blueberry and cream cheese dip by combining the following ingredients:
- 460g cream cheese (beaten until fluffy and smooth)
- 1 punnet fresh blueberries (gently processed, you want them chopped not pureed)
- ground cumin (to taste)
- ground coriander (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
- freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
The dominant flavours are the black pepper and the cumin. The coriander enhances the cumin. The blueberries provide colour, texture and a subtle foil of sweet against savoury.
